Most recently, it was discovered that the platform is testing a feature allowing users to add a 24-hour expiration timer to their posts. Similar to Stories on other platforms, the posts and their replies will disappear after 24 hours.
Threads Follows Twitter’s Footsteps with Disappearing Content
Threads This feature was first spotted by developer Alessandro Paluzzi and later confirmed by a Threads spokesperson, who revealed that it is being tested among a select group of users. The disappearing posts are reminiscent of Twitter’s Fleets, which didn’t gain much traction. However, Threads’ feature could be a useful solution for users who frequently delete their posts.
