Spectre Divide Release Date : The New Free-to-Play Shooter Spectre Divide Will Launch in Early Access on Steam on September 3rd
Mountaintop Studios’ new competitive shooter Spectre Divide is set to debut on Steam on September 3rd. First announced in early August, the game has already garnered significant attention as a potential rival to big names like Valorant and Counter-Strike 2. Spectre Divide aims to stand out with its tactical gameplay and free-to-play model.
One of the game’s standout features is the ability for players to control two characters— a main character and their clone—each equipped with unique sets of gear. This dynamic allows for strategic transitions between characters, offering players a fresh way to shift the momentum of battles. Players will be able to defend themselves in unique ways, whether by engaging in long-range attacks or close combat.
The developers of Spectre Divide plan to release the game in Early Access, seeking feedback from the community to improve the gameplay experience. Game Director Lee Horn expressed hope that the game would attract those who enjoy tactical shooters but are not accustomed to titles like Counter-Strike 2 or Valorant.
Spectre Divide System Requirements:
- Minimum: 64-bit Windows 10, Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1080-Ti or AMD RX 6700-XT graphics card, DirectX 11, 20 GB storage (SSD recommended).
- Recommended: 64-bit processor and operating system.
Spectre Divide aims to bring a fresh perspective to competitive shooters with its innovative game mechanics and system-friendly design, promising an engaging experience for players.
